Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis: What We Learned From TGS

PSO2AH offers a fast way for players to buy cheap and safe PSO2 Meseta on Xbox/PC/PS/Mobile, all transactions of Phantasy Star Online 2 Products go smoothly and reliably.

More about Sega's next generation of Phantasy Star Online was revealed at the Tokyo Game Show, and New Genesis is shaping up for a significant upgrade from PSO2 Meseta the current game. There are still many details to be revealed as time goes , but some significant things like combat and the world are much clearer. Hiro Arai from Sega was live for nearly an hour to show off footage of gameplay and speak about what new items are on the road. Not much was mentioned about the current game as well as the upgrade coming alongside NG's launch other than the graphic upgrade, which is looking fantastic.

Maps are no longer split into regions with loading screens. NG will have a completely open world in the home base to the field. The TGS footage showed off a gorgeous new world that is a substantial upgrade from the current game. Blades of grass blow in the wind, lush forests lie on the opposite side of valleys and frosty mountains could be viewed at the distance. Arai cites that different regions can be reached seamlessly simply by traversing the world. It seems like that is the planet Naberious from the present game, with forests being next to tundra and other areas. Areas are still technically divided up, but there is no loading between them. While it hasn't been directly said, an open world such as this implies there may not be single party areas . Most shown in the footage were multi-party areas where there were other gamers. The cap for multi-party places continues to be reduced to eight down from twelve at the present PSO2, but that you see will differ from area to area.

Weather is making a much better comeback as it changes dynamically and may affect the battlefield, even though the magnitude of the effect wasn't spoken of. Time may also change, and footage showed several nice touches like fireflies in the woods at night. There's no word on quick travel, mounts or vehicles nevertheless, but Sega has implemented several new methods for players to move quickly across this new world. Players will have the ability to run faster following a dodge both in and outside of battle. A blue series follows underfoot, so you'll know you are doing it right once you see it.

Another important addition to movement shown off in the first NG trailer is the slide. It goes as far as a few of the screenshots have made it look. Players may get to high ground and leap off to slide and receive pretty damn much across the map. Like in Breath of the Wild, you will be able to make you are way up a mountain to slide away from -- but without anything inhibiting you enjoy stamina. It will also cause some dramatic entrances into conflict. Sega already stated that crafting and gathering could be getting an overhaul, and while we didn't have a look at crafting, we did observe just how much nicer it is to snag items in the specialty. Gathering can be performed on the fly, similar to cheap Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta Dragon Hunter: World. Get close to an item, and tap a button. Fruit can be picked from trees, there are new docile creatures which can be searched for meat and other things and healing items are seen throughout the land as green glowing indicators called Resta Signs. It is much more intuitive than the current game.
