Hey there, fellow adventurers! I've got an exciting story to share with you about our recent trip to VIT Bhopal. From thrilling train rides to late-night walks, this behind-the-scenes escapade was filled with surprises and memorable moments. Leaving Bangalore: The Adventure Begins:
Our journey began on the afternoon of the 16th as we said goodbye to the bustling streets of Bangalore. With our bags packed and our hearts set on adventure, we left the office at 2:25 pm, ready for a journey of a lifetime. Our first stop was Yelahanka railway station, where we would catch the train to Bhopal.
While we waited for the train, a delightful encounter with an adorable baby filled our hearts with joy and brought cozy warmth to the bustling platform. It was the perfect start to our journey, reminding us to find joy in the small moments.
All Aboard: The Train Ride to Bhopal:
At 4:10 pm, we boarded the train, settling into our seats and getting ready for the ride ahead. As the train chugged along, we enjoyed snacks, engaged in lively conversations, and even caught a few winks under the starlit sky. The rhythmic sound of the tracks and the gentle sway of the train made for a soothing atmosphere.
The next morning, the 17th, we started the day with a refreshing breakfast on the train. The journey continued with a mix of chats, listening to music, and watching a movie. At one of the station stops, we ventured out to try some spicy local food—a delicious treat that added an extra touch of adventure to our trip. After dinner, we took a short nap, eagerly anticipating our arrival in Bhopal.
Arrival in Bhopal: The Adventure Continues:
With the dawn of a new day, we arrived at Bhopal railway station at 1:30 am on the 18th. Despite the late hour, a friendly cab driver was waiting to take us to VIT Bhopal. The drive to the campus was smooth, and we were greeted with warm hospitality upon arrival. The cozy accommodations provided the perfect place to recharge before the start of our workshop.
The Workshop at VIT Bhopal:
The workshop began at 10:45 am, and it was an incredible experience! We taught, we learned, and we had a blast interacting with everyone. The energy in the room was fantastic, and by 5:30 pm, we wrapped up the day feeling proud and accomplished. After the workshop, we took a leisurely evening walk around the campus, enjoying the cool breeze and the vibrant atmosphere. A delicious dinner capped off the day, and we went to bed, looking forward to more fun the next day.
Wrapping Up and Heading Home:
On the 19th, we woke up bright and early for the final day of the workshop. It went smoothly, and we concluded with a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction. Afterward, we gathered our belongings and headed to the mess for some snacks before returning to our rooms to pack our bags. Before leaving, we assembled two planes with care and precision and presented them to the college as a token of our appreciation.
With our bags packed and tickets in hand, we anxiously boarded the train back to Bangalore. A moment of uncertainty arose when one of our tickets was on a waiting list, but it was quickly confirmed, allowing us to relax and enjoy the journey. As the train rumbled through the night, we indulged in a hearty dinner before drifting off to sleep.
The Journey Back to Bangalore:
The next morning, we were greeted by the soft light of dawn as we arrived at Rani Kamala Pati railway station at 3:45 am. Despite the early hours, the station's beauty and peacefulness captivated us. After securing tickets to Itarsi, we boarded the train at 4:45 am, ready to continue our journey home. At Itarsi, we ventured out to enjoy a delicious breakfast before returning to the station to await our connecting train.
As the day progressed, we filled the time with a combination of eating, sleeping, and sharing stories about our incredible adventure. However, fate had one final surprise in store for us. Our express train, which typically had no stop in Yelahanka, unexpectedly paused for three minutes. This brief window gave us just enough time to retrieve a forgotten bag, resulting in a quick sprint and a successful retrieval before reboarding the train.
Finally, at 1:35 pm, we arrived back in Bangalore, filled with memories of our fantastic journey to VIT Bhopal and back. Despite the challenges and unexpected twists, this adventure was a testament to the power of teamwork, perseverance, and the thrill of exploration.
