The Epic End-of-Year Events in Path of Exile are not to be missed

It will be one week later on December 11th at 12pm PST when the week-long Endless Delve event will begin.

Grinding Gear Games is determined to end the year with a bang, despite the fact that it has been a difficult year for everyone on planet Earth. The studio will be closing out the year with a trio of events that will take place in Path of Exile throughout the entire month of December, according to the official announcement.

With a week-long Mayhem Event that begins on December 4th at 12pm PST, the event series officially begins. This event series will introduce classic League modifiers such as Anarchy, Invasion, Breach, Ambush, Torment, and Harbinger that were previously unavailable. In Wraeclast, “each area will have one of the following scenarios: 20 Rogue Exiles, 20 Strongboxes, 20 Invasion Bosses, 20 Breaches, 20 Tormented Spirits, or 20 Harbingers,” according to the team. “Mods will change every hour,” they add.

It will be one week later on December 11th at 12pm PST when the week-long Endless Delve event will begin. The event will take place entirely within the Azurite Mine and will present a more difficult challenge than normal Delve events, as players will be forced to begin Path of Exile 2 their descent into the mine with only a small amount of starter equipment.

Grinding Gear Games has decided to postpone the launch of the Path of Exile December league until January in order to accommodate the new Cyberpunk 2077 release date, which was announced last week after the company made changes to their development timeline.

According to Producer Chris Wilson on the game's official forums, CD Projekt Red has announced that Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on December 10 instead of November 10. In order to avoid forcing players into a difficult decision between these two games, we have decided to step back and push the release of Path of Exile 3.13 back until January, 2013."We still expect to finish 3.13 by the beginning or middle of December. The scope of this expansion will not be altered in any way. We will begin work on the 3.14 expansion during the month-long delay before the game is released.”

Players will be able to participate in at least one multi-week event in place of the League, which has been postponed until further notice. Of course, this unexpected setback has thrown yet another wrench into the development cycle of Grinding Gear, which has already suffered significantly as a result of the pandemic path of exile orbs.”While we are hopeful that this delay will not have an impact on our development schedule, it is likely that our release schedule will shift slightly during the year 2021,” Chris explained. The company says it will post more information about the 3.13 announcement as soon as it has more information about the dates and when it will be announced.

Kitava's resistance penalties will be incurred at various level thresholds, according to the developers, who explain that players will have access to passive points normally gained from quests. While Lilly Roth and Niko will be available to provide skill gems, players will be able to ascend their characters using the Altar of Ascendancy, which can be found within the Mine Encampment.”Players will not be able to access their Hideouts or any towns, which means they will have to fight the darkness alone in order to survive.“Wishing you the best of luck.”

The final event in the series will be the three-week Heist Flashback event, which will begin on December 18th at 12pm PST and run until the launch of the next expansion, which will be in January. The event will be similar to the Mayhem Event in that it will have several popular modifiers from previous Leagues active in each zone, similar to the Mayhem Event orb of fusing. Several popular mods from previous leagues will be present in each game area, with a random selection of three of the following mods present in each game area, which will change on the hour every hour.”

Prizes awarded during the event include Demigod's Authority, Twilight Myster Boxes, and random draw microtransactions awarded to players who reach certain levels. More information about Path of Exile can be found on the game's official forums.
