For the past 24 years, Jayadev has been an educational entrepreneur in India. He has founded various companies in the area of learning and digital content. Jayadev's comments are comments on innovation in education, entrepreneurship and teacher training. As a speaker, he has made presentations at international conferences focusing on education technology, pedagogy and entrepreneurship. Jayadev is also passionate about inspiring individuals to come up with innovative solutions that impact society positively through their work or volunteering life.Jayadev is also an author of two best-selling books titled "CAT Material" and "The CAT Book". He is also a regular contributor to a news site called the Economic Times. His article on entrepreneurship, written when he was in college, was included in the best anthology of journalism from India under 25 years old.Jayadev has been involved in various initiatives for promoting entrepreneurship in India. He has assisted in founding various chapters of "Startup Saturday", a non-profit organisation that helps students and people to develop their entrepreneurial skills and gives them access to mentors and success stories. Jayadev is also a mentor for "The Social", an online community for students across various colleges in India.Jayadev has been passionate about art & crafts from his early days. He used to paint in oils, water-color and acrylics when he was in high school. Jayadev was also interested in poetry at that time. Jayadev attended Little Flower High School in San Jose, California for his secondary education. He spent his childhood days schooling at Little Flower High School in New Almaden, California. His school life was an important part of his life as he was inspired by one of his teachers who made him believe that all things are possible for him through hard work and perseverance. Jayadev excelled in academics and arts. He has studied economics at St Stephen's College ( affiliated to University of Delhi). While he was at St Stephen's College, he was the founder member of the National Study Circle (NSC) which had more than 600 members at its peak. In his late twenties, Jayadev worked as a management trainee at Citibank for 3 months. He was in the Capital Markets and Securities business with Citibank and in charge of work in the areas of IPOs and Local Currency issuance in India.Primarily, Jayadev studied at Little Flower High School, New Almaden, United States. After completing his high school education in U.S., he returned to India for further studies and completed his schooling from St Stephen's College (University of Delhi). Jayadev got introduced to the world of technology while working as a Network Administrator with Infosys Technologies Limited (one of the largest IT companies in India).
