Last year, long-standing tensions were brought to the surface by a photo showing a sea eagle in Argyll holding a lamb in its talons.

"We are aware that some farmers and ranchers have serious concerns about the impact of sea eagles on their livestock," said Ross Lilley, SNH's sea eagle mission manager.
