Hello guys, I'm looking for some assistance here. Someone attempts to hack to access my accounts (due to the fact that i have recieved five official emails from Runescape) warning me that somebody attempts to retrieve my password, which i do not believe in.
It has forced me to change my details - the bank's pin number, any security question, an e-mail address that I have registered, and a password. I've transferred everything I trade to a second account to make sure they're safe in case. I'm guessing this is due to someone seeing me on the internet wearing full dragon armour on a quest, maybe?
I do not use any kind of bot, so I know its not an attempt at hacking with one of these, as I've never even thought of downloading one. Here is my question is there something else I can do to ensure my account is secure? I'm using AVG antivirus and Ad-Aware , and am using a simple Windows firewall. (i also use other anti-computer hacking software that i'm not going to make public). This virus scan was completed today, and there was nothing.
