In advance of the cover's unveiling, the Undefeated's Aaron Dodson caught up with Jackson to talk about Jackson's Tecmo Bowl days, how Bo Knows came to Madden nfl 22 coins life in his Madden return and much more.

What does it mean to you to finally become a cover athlete for the sport, 35 years after your career began?
This has been in the making off and on for years. The time had to be suitable for my business. The teaming up with the Madden team to get things sorted out, complete all the i's cross the t'safter we had it done, the rest was just going along with it. I thought that, somewhere in my history, I did something right so that I could be looked at as one of the most famous athletes from over thirty years ago. Madden believes in me to think of doing something like this.
Your history with video games goes back to 1989 when you were the mainstay in the Tecmo Bowl. Tecmo Bowl. What was it like seeing yourself in the past?
I'm still imagining myself playing still in Tecmo Bowl. I'm still playing the video game. I have the game to play it on. It's just in a box in storage. It's iconic. It really makes me feel good knowing that I have grown-ups in their 40s telling me"Hey, my brother and I had the most intense conflict of our lives, because we were both hoping to play in Tecmo Bowl when we were young. So our parents took the game and my dad locked it away in his tool cabinet. We weren't able to play with it for a month due to the fighting was so intense. I hear this frequently. When I attend exhibitions of sports memorabilia, people will come up with this video game. They tell me, 'I've owned the device to play it on. My kids play it. My grandkids love it ... Too. And everybody has a debate about who's gonna take on the role of Bo Jackson.' Tecmo Bowl ... that was quite the technological marvel back then. If you look it up now and you think, "Wow it's an old-fashioned.'
Do you really believe that you've not had the pleasure of playing Tecmo Bowl?
I've nied to play Tecmo Bowl. That's the God's honest truth. I've watched others play the game often. However, I was aware of what I could do. I was aware of exactly what the Tecmo Bowl man could do. It gives me pleasure to hear people praise me on my performance from that event.
One of the aspects of your video game return to Madden includes celebrating Nike's legendary Bo Knows campaign. Take us back to cheap Mut 22 coins the beginning. How did Bo Knows present the concept that Bo Knows was the name of Bo Knows to you?
