When the old wilderness was in RuneScape Gold existence (this was a long time ago, I'm talking about), the PKing community in RuneScape was a good group of people. First thing we would do was ask "dm?" Before we attacked anyone, we asked "dm?" Before we attacked someone. We wanted to make sure that they were in the area and had a fun, fair fight.
People also dm'ed. There are a lot of instances where I ask RuneScape players "dm?" to get a response of "sure" or "yes" and then have players flee to the bank a couple of minutes after the fight.
We also pinned our best accounts against one another and our main accounts. It was more fun because the stats were balanced. It was exciting to see melee beat range, mage defeat melee, etc. We now have pures that are totally unbalanced. This means that PKing is less fun.
Does it have to be me or have the PKing community lost their integrity over the years? These are only a few of the many instances I've come up with however I'm sure there are more. Do you think integrity will be restored when the wilderness of old is restored? Or are you just an avid fan of the RuneScape world?
Many people might not think of all the things. I thought of a few items: Back in 2007 I believe we had that small screen where the field of 2007 RS Items vision was not as clear. You had to constantly alter the camera. Now players can see many others without worrying about their camera.
