Some of you may know that I have just RS gold completed Plague's End and have unlocked Prifddinas. The last few days were filled with exploring the city as well as doing tasks for the Elven clans.
It's a fantastic city in fact I've always believed that its reputation was overblown but I can honestly comprehend why people love it. I have always preferred dark places/cities such as Edgeville, Draynor and The Wilderness to me, so it is unusual for me not to love a place so civilized and happy looking.
As everyone knows, the clan system is the most significant element of Prifddinas or Elven society. There are 8 unique clans, each with its distinct areas within the city. Which clan(s) do your members prefer and why? We'll also discuss clan leaders, as you may appreciate a leader, but not have any particular interest.
I have always liked the Iorwerth. It's mostly because they were the Dark Lord, prior to the release of the Elven questline's final quests, was always thought to be Zamorak. I do not have the means to prove this, however I am fairly certain that in the past, certain NPCs stated that the Iorwerth as Zamorakians who rebelled against the crystal Goddess led Elven society. I have always sympathized with Lord Iorwerth and his elves as a result of that.
Now after the end of the civil war, the clan is under a new leader and is trying their best to be accepted back into the elven society following the trouble they caused, wan't to be seen as helpful and prove their worth. It's impossible not to admire them, particularly since they are essentially a bellic clan. I like this very well. Their clan crest is pretty badass.
I like the clan Cadarn also, which is the second major civil-war clan. They're a violent and bellicose clan that is very different from the clan of Iorwerth. They're more interested in magic and stealth rather than brute power like Iorwerth. It is a clan that focuses on my two favorite skills, which is always a plus. However, I can't say that I love the crest.
As for clan leaders, I like Lady Hefin and Lord Amlodd. Lady Meilyr's appearance overall is just what I like. She looks like a hippy elf. When you meet her for the first time, she's all high and everything. She's also among the most valuable elf leaders and has all of the Herblore (especially the Herblore purchasing recipes that cost OSRS buy gold 10Mish today and I can't wait to see the leveling) and Dungeoneering stuff.
