How cool a question I find interesting as well. I have low alch using the Explorer ring but that's only because it's free xp with a limit of 30 a day. I use the RuneScape Gold nats that I obtain to superheat the ore. I get nats in drops as im fighting different monsters. This is not a top priority for me to collect runes. It's up to luck for me. There is an array of monsters listed and drop stats if you'd like to fight for a heap of nats?
I train slayer but I forget what critter has the best nat drops. . i know the roaches drop Nats, but unless fighting the most, relying upon this for nat production is extremely slow. The good thing is that the costs are affordable for items right now and runes are cheap to purchase if you have enough gp for an enormous stack.
I've played since 08 and i'm assuming it's the lowest i have seen prices rise. In the past , i've sold runes but I'm now burning them, as it's not a big lose in terms of cash to use my runes. In the moment, at least - However, things change... and i am looking forward to the next dumb update to be discovered within our world. I'm off to remove some gold from the monster's butt.
So far, it's working extremely well. I only have to bank whenever I'm not able to hold additional drops. It is much better using a whip instead of Guthan's spear of war. In terms of the damage that is done per second for the spear is extremely high and re-banking it when you're needed is easier. Change to a whip whenever there is no need to heal then. Easy to address.
Full Slayer Helmet - Even though I'm not slaying them to slay them and the Full Slayer Helm is great for a ranged helm, and it also offers the benefit of a ranged attack even if I do not receive the 15% bonus since it's not a slayer task.
